Around the Campfire is a unique collaboration between Lil’ Rev and his friend and mentor, Larry Penn, an elder statesman of Wisconsin Folk. This folksy collection of original and traditional music is rooted in working class sentiment with themes running the gamut from trains, planes, travel, hobo lore, home, work, blues and songs of hope. The production is exceptional, yet raw and unadulterated as Larry and Rev take turns leading tunes in an a relaxed manner.
